front case fans

are they really needed?

i have a 120mm exhaust fan pulling out the hot air, so why do i need a front case fan pulling in hot air and dust from my room?

would it not be better to have the 120 exhaust pulling air out and another situated on top also pulling air out?

i do need the front 120mm intake fan(s) for my case as it helps reduce both cpu and case temp by 2-3c*

Because at the minte your exhaust fan is not only sucking air out but sucking air in to replace it which reduces it's efficiency, having an intake fan at the front of a the same size and spec allows you to balance the air flow in and out of your case.
