Not really sure if this is a case or a cooling/fan question. Apologies (and please move) if it's more appropriate asked elsewhere.

I have the Antec SLK3700AMB case, and am needing to add a 4th harddrive to my set up, so figure it'll be worthwhile putting in a front fan as well.

The case has a space for a 120mm fan at the front, inside, in front of the hdd's. It has a plastic fan mount, and my question is whether all 120mm fans will fit into this, or do I need to be careful about which I choose?

You can see the case with mounting pretty clearly in the first photo on this page: http://www.silentpcreview.com/article76-page2.html (I hope that's ok to link to).

Any tips on good 120mm front intake fan choice, with cooling ability and price as the major considerations, would also be much appreciated.

Thanks

Any standard 120 x 25mm fan will fit i should think. Measure that gap to check its 25mm just in case tho. That just means you can't use a 120 x 38mm fan such as the big panaflo ones.

Harddisks really don't need much airflow i find, so any old fan should do.
Coolermaster fans are very good value, they are relatively quiet, especially if you slow them down a bit and they have enough airflow for your application. I have 5.

If you want silence, get a nexus fan.

I recomend avoiding akasa ones as both of mine click at any speed and are very noisy at full speed. If noise isn't a problem, then these have good airflow.
The akasa ultra quiet fans are probably ok.
