Front Loading 2.5"/3.5" HotSwappers Alternatives

Just upgrading my Olde Thermaltake Xaser III (Yeah last build was in 2008) as I do a lot of recovery jobs for people I like the idea of the Top loading docking station as an alternative to the front loading ones I currently have installed.

Are there more cases that have these pre-installed? Would also need USB3 on them as well.

Does it have to come out of the top of the case?

The 650D has a nice hot swap drive in the 'top' optical drive bay.

That currently strikes me as perhaps the best option to be honest.

If top is a must, the behemoth that is the Xigmatek Elysium, might be an idea:

Corsair Obsidian 600D is one, & Corsair Obsidian 800D is another one that I can think of, which has four SATA 6Gb/s hot-swap drive bays.

Cheers guys, some nice cases. Just realised I am more picky than I thought lol

650D = Nice closable Lid for HotSwap but bit to plain design
Xigmatek Elysium = Prefer Side mounted HD Bays
800D = nice Hotswap but lose the option for 2.5"

have you considered the external docks... you could pick any case you like then

You could use a 3.5" convert to 2.5" hot-swap HDD Tray , therefore retaining hot swappable bay you want.

Yeah I currently use External Docks, I was after a case that sorta ticked all the boxes in one, with a new build I like to have a new facelift.
In theory I could front load any case but you know what its like when money starts burning a hole in yer pocket. Also the 800D only has front loaded USB2 ports, but again I could get a USB3 bay.
