As above, keep seeing it on steam and like the sound of it, but equally I can imagine it being rubbish. Has anyone played it who could offer any insight into whether it's worth the price? Cheers

I decided to get it on Xbox rather than PC, more a controller than a mouse sort of game. I am enjoying it, but it is somewhat linear, it is all over the shoulder view and mostly hand held weapons than mounted weapons. Very arcade rather than simulation. The single player also seems a bit short (Only got it Friday and I think I am pretty close to completing it with only 6 hours or so played) and the multiplayer is a pain to start off in. What parts you can use in single player depend on your rank, so as a private it the opponents are higher rank, you are going to get creamed. A lot.

But mechs..... lol. I'd like something like Chrome Hounds but a bit faster paced and with better graphics. I'm not into the Jap-style anime mechs, I want a big ass robot with so many cannons on it it looks like a radio tower :(

You do know that the PC can use a wired & wireless 360 controller.

a sequel or something similar to chromehounds would be amazing, was such an amazing game in it's prime :)

Front mission is alright although it's plagued by performance issues atm, to the point where i can't actually go any further in the game because my fps is too low and i'm not the only one having these issues unfortunately

Yeah, but for controller games I prefer to be sat on the sofa in front of a big TV while the PC is upstairs on a desk. :)

Ok the PC being upstairs is an issue but lucky for me my PC is in the front room so i can play on my 2560x1600 30" LCD or my 50" 1080p plasma TV with my Wireless controller which i do allot.
