Front mounted H100 would there be any issues?

Would there be any issues with mounting my h100 at the front of my case? (500R) Reason been is ive just put together a new desk draws on one side and a open section with a shelf on the other, Im thinking of putting my computer under their but their will only be around 2cm of clearence between top of my computer and the shelf so think it would be best to place it at the front to get better airflow if i do put my pc their.

you can put it at the front no problem. Technically will help keep temp cooler.

However. only allowing 2cm gap at top for exhaust my hinder overall internal case temperatures

How are you mounting it at the front?
IIRC, there are slots for 120mm fans, but no mounts for a rad... Unless you're using the left side of the HDD cages?

Few L brackets i made but i should have measured up first it actually wont fit

rad is a few cm to tall

may have to install it right at the end of the top bay
