Front mounted tricool blowing air out!?!

Hey guys.

I just recently installed 2 tricool's to the front of my pc but they seem to be blowing out and not bringing cool air in to the case. As stupid as it sounds I think I might be doing something wrong. So here is what has happened so far:

1) I installed 2 tricool fans to the front of my case with the antec logo/sticker showing. I connected the fans using only the 4 pin molex connections. The fans were stationary but the blue LED lit up, very pretty!

2) Using the additional 3 pin plugs I connected one to the cha_fan2 and one to the pwr_fan. This caused the fans to spin, but they feel like they are blowing air out and not bringing cool air into the case.

3) Today I bought a 3 pin splitter and connected both fans through the 3 pin connector to both cha_fan2 and pwr_fan yet still they are blowing air out.

So have I connected them incorrectly? Should I turn the fans around so the antec logo is facing into the case?

It feels like such a nub question but help would be greatly appreciated

Turn them around, the logo should be facing in if you want them blowing in.

There are usually 2 arrows on the outside of the fan showing the blade direction and air flow direction.

If you can see the Antec logo from outside the case then the fans are blowing out (assuming your Tricools are the same as mine). If you want to be sure, shut your PC down and watch the fans as they slow to a stop (shine a torch into the case if you can't see very well). It will be easy to tell which way they are blowing, based on the shape of the fan blades and the direction in which they are turning.

You know, as I sat here, the obvious answer was to switch them around lol. But just wasnt sure.

Cheers guys, going to get them turned around now. Hope I gave a few laughs ^^

Please close quickly xD
