Hi,

I have an Asus P5Q and I'm a bit confused about the front panel connectors to the mobo. I have 4 connectors named

Power SW (2pin)
Reset SW (2pin)
Power LED (3pin)
HDD LED (2pin)

My mobo is arranged as follows:

Now the pins @ 13 seems to be randomly arranged. Does it matter how/where I plug them in? Vertically or horizontally?

Cheers,

The pins at 13 are indeed the ones you want.

The manual you can download in PDF form will clearly show exactly what pins are for what.

If you get cant work out which way around the ± go, then,

For the Power and Reset SW it doesnt matter, their job is to only briefly short the two pins.

If the HDD LED and Power LED dont illuminate, just swap the pins/connectors 180 degrees around.
