Hi All its been about 20 years since i built my last pc and have just brought a Ansaite atx case from ***elsewhere*** and when installing everything and wiring it up on the top where all the on off and usb sockets are there is a sun symble on one of the buttons so i assume its for the rgb fans that come with the case, when attaching the front panel wires to the mother board an (MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus AM4 Motherboard) there is a RGB SW connector but iv got no idea where it connects to the motherboard as there are no 2 pin sockets near by.
the system works but would be nice to find answer.
thankyou
Keith

I don't know if that's normally a feature to be honest. Unless it's quite new, I've not seen motherboards that have a connector for RGB control. You might need to find another solution or just ignore the button.

It's not normally a motherboard feature, it's usually for a fan/rgb controller bundled with cheaper cases (e.g. I've had Kolink with one), so that you can still control RGB effects even if your motherboard doesn't support it.

I thought that might be the situation, though it looks like this case doesn't come with a controller (just 6 RGB fans)

Just as an example here is the sort of fan/rgb controller that the Kolink Citadel used that had a 2 pin connector (just above the pink arrow)

It also had non-standard JST connectors for the RGB fans, but that's another story:
