Hi :)

I just built a new computer last night (my first build :D) and the cables are an absolute mess, I'm looking for some braided extension cables for the front panel stuff but I can't find a braided front panel power LED extension cable for the life of me! Anyone know of any nice braided front panel power LED extension cables (preferably orange) please? :)

Thanks.

order some braid and heatshrink and do it yourself. Generally you don't even need to remove the plugs for these small cables.

Got a set of the black nzxt ones in one of my machines. Bit better than the stock multicolour ones.

Is there space behind the mobo tray to route the cables there? Are there cutouts for the cables???

Yep, there are cutouts, but i havent bothered using them yet. Gotta get a new psu for that system, install the two gtx 460's i have for it, and purchase a few more of the blue bitfenix pcie extensions

The only thing i dont like about the nzxt cables is the plasic type braid they use. Its not very flexible, the ones i have will be cable tied together once i get the rig completed. Should help to stop them springing about.

Yeah, I heard about the cheap feel of them but I didn't think it would really matter for the small front panel connectors, for all the other extensions (24-pin, 8-pin, SATA power and SATA-3) I went with the BitFenix Alchemy cables.
