front pannel connectors i need help...

bought a new computer everything is ok im not so about the front pannel connectors.I know where they go but not sure which way round. For example the HDD LET goes into pin 1 and 3. 1=HD_LED_P and 3=HD_LED_N. i have a red wire and white one which goes where? thanks for any help you can ive me

surely its in the manual dude...

I think the colour (in this case red) normaly goes to positive. But what I normally do it put it on (guess) and if it's wrong, turn it around whilst the computer is on so you know you've got it right.

its an msi board. yeah its in the manual i know where they go just not sure which way round i may have to guess

theres an arrow on the back of each connector...

lets say the base of the pc is at the bottom of your knees...then the arrows should be facing you...and the writing **** be facing the top of the case...

I would not recomment trying to change the front panel connections with the power on. Much safer to try it, turn off, replace, try again.

LEDs will not be damaged by being put in the wrong way around and switches just don't work (no damage).

just change them around mate, like front and back, i had the problem yesterday and i turned them round and worked fine...
