Hi guys. Quick question - front row tickets for Dirty Dancing. Would they good really really good seats, or are they too close?? My wife is really short and we always have the problem that she can't see over tall people in front so I thought front row would be excellent!!

Thanks,

Mal

I am interested as to the answer to this, but perhaps you could sit in a balcony area at the front still but on a raised balcony, that they some times have in 2 tier places.

... Failing that a booster seat?

Site I use, go to the show you are seeing and it should give you a seating plan and if they are good/bad value or any reasons why you should avoid.

Thanks for that site mate, very informative and helpful website - didn't even know it existed!

We normally like being in the stalls rather than the raised circle, just because the circle is that bit further away.

Also, not sure the wife would react well to sitting in a booster seat :D :D

Front row is probably a bit too close as you'd be struggling to see everything and looking up all the time...similar to the front row in a cinema I guess.

I usually sit in the stalls, middle section about 6 or so rows from the front, and get a good view.

I wouldn't sit in the front row at a theatre unless it's very small. I normally try to get seats near the front of the centre circle, as I'm also short, so hate people being in front of me.

I think it would depend on the theatre and therefore how large the stage is/whether you would be looking up as you sit there. Some places I've been to are better than others in that regard but I'd normally not choose to sit in the first 5-10 rows because it would be a bit too difficult to see the whole stage.

I usually try to sit about 10 rows from the front in the stalls, for me they are the best seats in the house, but then i'm quite tall
