I finally upgraded to Mountain Lion after having Lion on my iMac, and was still on snow leopard on my macbook.
Didn't use front row at all on the iMac, but I like to use my macbook connected to a monitor in my bedroom to play movies/music from itunes library and also dvds. For me, it was simple, easy to use and worked well with the IR remote.
It's been removed though so now I don't know what to use. I tried using the apple DVD player app last night and it was just a bit cumbersome when using full screen. I can't even bring see what time I am at during a dvd movie using the remote as it only shows a icon pause/play etc.
Has anyone got any solutions or something else I can try? I don't mind sticking with itunes for playing movies/music from the library, it's the DVD function in Front Row that I miss.
