Hi,

Yet again I've woken up with a sore neck, its a sure sign I need to change my pillow, again :(
Current one has only lasted a few months.

Any recommendations on long lasting pillows for front sleepers please?

Looking to order one asap, there are so many out there that I would much prefer some first hand experience from actual people than run the risk of buying one and it turns out to be rubbish.

Thanks

You could sleep on a massage table?

By front sleeper, I assume you sleep with your face buried into the pillow?

I vary positions, side, front, back but usually wake up in a combo of front/side. I recently bought a pillow that has literally changed my life. Pretty much every morning I would wake up with a stiff neck and spend most of the first half the day looking around like someone in a neck collar. Traditional foam pillows would also make me puther sweat like no tomorrow regardless of time of year or temperature.

Search for a Buckwheat Husk pillow on the rain forest, they look and sound daft but if you read the reviews it was enough to convince me, best £30 I've ever spent.

I gave up on this thread because it got trolled but this looks interesting. Does it not obstruct your breathing when on your front? Never seen a filling like it I think I'm going to try one out

Edit

Just done half an hour of reading on these and I get the impression these can be worse for dust mites than a synthetic pillow, did you do much reading on them if so what did you think?

I looked into it a bit, but aside from a few people complaining about the noise (if you move your head around it sounds a bit like a beanbag, I got used to it in not time but it might annoy some) I didn't see too much about dust mites.

When on my front I have my head to the side, I don't notice any breathing problems.

What I love about it is it's infinitely adjustable, you can move the filling around to give you support where you want it or move it away if it's too much.

They won't be for everyone, if you like a fluffy soft pillow for your head to sink in (and sweat in in my case) then they won't be for you, they're also a million times more breathable than a foam or feather pillow so I hardly get neck sweats at all now.

Edit: also easy to clean the case, empty the husks out into a dry bowl, wash and dry the case and then tip them back in!
