Hi,

Well i was going to get a sub, but i decided my money would be better spent on better front speakers due to the music i listen to. Well i have about £130 i suppose for the upgrade. Now what should i get? Oh my head unit is a Pioneer DEH-P5700MP (50Wx4).

I have been told its best to goto round speakers for sound quality, so i guess it will be 13cm speakers ill be using as thats the size i can get an adapter for the Focus.

Are you making the adaptor out of MDF so you can also mount the tweeter in the door with it so its still all hidden?

Well i dont tend to listen to rock much now as much. It is more blues, a little country (:p), well more vocal stuff now. Not much heavy stuff.

Edit - Reality Bites, just added you to MSN.

Ok i have decided. I am wanting 16cm coaxials. Which would be the best ones to go for in the budget of £50-70? Also i dont mind buying 2nd hand.

Even with a coaxials that have directional tweeter? (infinity) Where could i mount all the stuff then? Wantign to keep it so my car can eb sold all stock in the future.

So are they meant to be mounted at head height? I guess i could hide them behind the A-arm so people dont notice i have comp speakers so much?

I was accually looking at the same comps as you have Fox. Ok you got me into wanting comps now, damn you people. :p Is £60 a good price for the 16.5cm Alpine SPS-171A's?
