Front USB Providing Power But No Data?

Hi there,
I have an issue with one of my front USB ports only providing power and no data? The 3.0 works, but not the standard 2.0. Odd! I know this is the wrong place, but I will ask here just in case. Could it be software side? I have had a look round the back and it seems okay from what I can see, any help appreciated!

Had the same with my 300R, a fresh OS install cured it, a bit extreme l know. Maybe worth uninstalling the 3.0 drivers/software then re-install before heading down the fresh install route.

Impossible to do so, as with Windows you can't "install drivers", as it installs them as soon as I uninstall and you can't just install the correct ones :'(

unistall the driver then disable the device, install your driver re-enable

that's how its done
