Hi,
So I wanted a new case for my older system, but it seems like the motherboard is not fully supporting the frontal USB cable (which is merged into a single plug for both USB sockets).
Motherboard = ASRock 970 Pro3 (http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/970 Pro3/)
Case = Corsair Carbide 300R (http://www.corsair.com/en/carbide-series-300r-compact-pc-gaming-case)
The MB does have USB 3.0 support, but for individual cables, not the combined type.
So I was wondering is there any solution to this? Could I replace the front USB ports with individual ones? Or perhaps get a PCI Express expansion slot and plug the frontal cable into that?
Any advice would be appreciated as I kinda need the frontal USBs functioning, thank you
