Frontlines : Fuel of War demo is out now on marketplace, made by THQ
Ive heard nothing about it but im downloading anyway
File size is a hefty 1.7Gb though

Not a bad demo, feels a bit clunky in places, love the drones you can get, and always love commanding a tank and blowing things up, 32 players on Live too :)

three difficulties available
easy, casual, hardcore

graphics arnt bad, fair bit of aliasing visible though. framerate is stable for most of the demo, with a few dips here and there
lots of team mate NPCs on screen
destructable environments are good, objects such as walls, small buildings, support work and statues can be blow to bits :D

good sound effects throughout

its worth a download for sure

edit : found one bug, whilst flying a attack drone if you fly back over your character the body will disppearing leaving just clothes :p

Just played through the demo. Thought it was ok, nothing special. Lots of friendly NPCs about but they seem pretty useless. I think its similar to COD4/3/2/1 in that there will be constant re-spawns until a certain area is reached/taken.

Will be interesting to see what the final version turns out like!

Cool, been looking forward to this. Frontlines is made by the guys who did the DC mod for BF142 on PC, and that was ace. This is their take on that style of game, looks good from the stuff i've seen of it.

If the MP is anywhere near as good as the original Battlefied games or COD4 then this will be a definate purchase.

Not that impressed with the demo...aiming is all over the place but the concept of r/c controlled cars that explode is quite neat. Dont think ill be getting this though.
