Frozen Guinness?

I didn't have any beer in the fridge last night, so I lobbed a new can of Guinness in the freezer to cool it down a bit to have with my takeaway curry. I forgot about it, and when I took it out it was ice cold but there were a few blocks of ice in the Guinness. I drank it.

I spent the whole of last night being violently sick. It was a horrible experience. The rest of my family were fine which rules out the curry, so is it possible that the partly-frozen Guinness is to blame? It was definitely something I ate, rather than a bug, because I feel fine this morning, albeit I don't have much of an appetite.

Did they have the same type of curry? In my eyes it would be the more likely option that frozen beer...

3 of us had exactly the same thing.

The Guinness isn't old, as the 4-pack had that limited edition glass offer on it.

I reckon it was the turd smear around the rim of the can from the bloke in the shop you bought it from

vom happens mate, don't blame beer, beer good

shame to hear about such a waste of good curry though tbh :D

How could it possibly be from freezing a sealed can of beer? lol what on earth

What was the can touching in the freezer? Sounds like the can was up agaisnt something which then defrosted and you got some of it, or it was the curry.

yea as said above it could have been near some chicken or something rubbed up against it then when you took it out the freezer obviously the bacteria start to reproduce again = ill you
