So i got all the parts to my computer yesterday, built it (despite a few painful compatibilty issues). And overclocked it straight to 2.8ghz easily (8hours orthos stable).

Its an E2140 on a gigabyte DS3R mobo, and ive currently got the (crucial balistix)RAM on "+0.2" , but ive no idea what that RAM voltage equates too.
Have a feeling that its +0.2v too normal voltage of 1.8v, can anyone enlighten me on this matter ?

Also, my timings have been automatically done so far, and are a bit all over the place (5,5,5,17 at 720mhz), can anyone suggest what timings i try and change first ?

Yip 1.8v is the 'normal' vdimm on the Gigabyte boards, so +0.2 is is 2.0v.

If you're going to keep the memory on the x2.0 multiplier at 350mhz (700mhz) then you could change the first 4 timings to 3-3-3-8. You'll probably have to set the vdimm to +0.4v (2.2v) as that is the Ballistix's stock voltage.

The Ballistix should do 3-3-3-8 upto ~760mhz at 2.2v.

Nae bother.

If you're going to use a higher memory multiplier (such as the default x2.5 option) you would be better with 4-4-4-12. You might even get 4-3-3-10 at 875mhz.

The Ballistix is awesome memory.

sticking to the 1:1 atm, easiest to get your head around.

Any other suggestions on trying to get to 3ghz ?
getting max temps of around 45c at 2.8, but computer restarting at higher clock speeds.

vcore currently at 1.287, planning to increase it a bit for stability.
