FS2004 and refresh rates

My monitor will quite happily do 1600x1200 at 85hz but when i put FS2004 in that mode its obviously gone down to flicker-tastic 65hz. There doesnt seem to be an option in the setting panel to put it back up again, was just wondering if theres an .ini file or something i can edit to make it use a better refresh rate at that res?

if your using a Nvidia card you can force refresh rates in the driver control panel not sure about ATI

Ive tried the force setting in the Control Centre but that doesnt seem to work.
