I was just wondering.... I have got my fsb up to 2059.9mhz so does that mean my cpu fsb is running at this speed or is that stuck at 1066mhz:confused: cpu is a e6200

No, that is QFSB figure you are quoting, the actual FSB is 515, which is a near 100% overclock. Nice.

I have no idea what an E6200 is though. A CPUz screenie will tell all.

[Edit]Your sig says E6300, so you're on the 6x or 7x multiplier which is either 3.09GHz or 3.60GHz. Either is pretty good for an E6300.

Anyway - kudos for the clock, I'm not that bothered about stability testing, but if it's Orthos/Prime stable and you're using the 7x multiplier, then that's a very good overclock indeed.[/Edit]

ooops yes its e6300. i`m using 7x multi. noticed in cpuz it flicks to 6x slowing cpu down when idle. I havent tried orthos/prime yet. Been running fine for the last week at this speed (crysis, photoshop, web, normal use) so i`m pretty chuffed. I can get into vista at some bonkers speeds but soon crashes.

Another quickie while i`m at it. I`m using the asus probe to see temps and it flashes up like say 27deg then 44 deg on the cpu. which is my temp??

Thanks for the reply

The willy-waving police like to see seven weeks' worth of Orthos stability testing for your overclock to be allowed into the willy-waving club.

I couldn't care less. Nice overclock.
