hi all

was thinking about getting one of the new wolfdale CPUs for a new computer im hoping to build

it says the FSB of the processor is 1333Mhz, so for it to run at that speed do you need a motherboard that can cope with 1333FSB and what about the RAM memory bus??

All this is very confusing.. lol

thank you

think the cpu is quad pumped so it runs at 333.
to run your memory at 1:1 you'd need ddr 800 (pc 6400)
if i'm wrong someone will correct me.

What CPU are you looking at, and are you going to overclock? These are the most important questions here :D

If you aren't going to overclock, stick with PC2-6400 (its cheap enough anyway), if you are going to overclock, I'd go with PC2-8500 or higher.
