How can I tell if fsck has crashed?
I ran fsck.ext3 on a big RAID5 array and I'm not sure if it's actually doing anything.
It has been stuck on this for a couple hours:
'Pass 1: Checking inodes, blocks, and sizes'
I ran 'top' and fsck.ext3 cpu usage keeps changing (2-6%) so it must be doing something right?
