hi, i have an FSP sparkle blue storm PSU, and have had it sitting for quite a while in my cupboard. a few months ago my whole PC just packed in totally, so i swapped everything out bit by bit, including the PSU, after which it worked. while i was trying (fruitlessly) to figure out what is wrong with it today, i noticed that i don't have a white -5v line on the 20pin connector, and 2 wires going into one of the first ones (should be orange wires, but one's brown) does anybody else have one of these PSUs so they can look and see if it's normal? anyone have an idea what my problem might be? the mobo lights come on but nothing powers up... (running a skt754 DFI lanparty utnf3250gb rig)

I have the blue storm 350W and I have the white -5V on the 20pins converter but not on the 24pins. I have two orange wires and one brown wire all go into the first two pins of the 24pins connector.

I have the same problem with my mobo not powering on even though the power indicator is on. But I suspect it's the P4P800E that's died.

Which model do you have because I think different models may have different wirings.

the model is ax500-a i know it's not the rest of the machine because it's what i'm typing on at the moment. hmm, it's wierd, i'm sure a motherboard needs it, it's just bizzare that it did work for a little while.
