The screenshots from this new weather/environment pack for FSX look amazing. To me this is yet another must have for FSX fans. I already own Flight Environment X, but this looks better again. I've just ordered and am waiting patiently for the 4GB download to complete.

That looks really cool. Especially the coral reef and water effects. I'm very tempted to put this one on the old christmas list. Thanks for the heads up!

I can't believe I'm actually considering buying a non-combat flight sim :p

What kind of PC do you need to run it looking like that though?

A fast dual (i.e 3.2ghz plus) with lots of cache, or ideally, a quad at similar speeds, as it does make good use of them.

4GB of fast memory is also benificial, along with any half decent 512mb+ GPU. The game is more CPU hungry than GPU irrc. I'm waiting to get a new i7 next year before getting back into this. :)

Nightmare to set up,
I purchased and downloaded it yesterday.
Still can't get it to work, running vista x64.
Although its probably me.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Did you try the support forums on realenvironmentextreme.com? 48 hours later and I still haven't managed to download the bloody thing!
