FSX voice over problem

Recently reinstalled windows, up to date on all the latest drivers for Graphics card, sound card ect.

Then after installing FSX, the game runs fine as usual but theres no voice over on the tutorials and cant hear air traffic control or anything, the sound seems to go low at first and then no voice over.

It just seems odd as the first time (previous installation) it was working well, yes there is a few compatability issues with FSX and windows 7 (im on x64) but this is weird. Ive tried looking at the options and reinstalling FSX but no avail. Just cant play the game like this. Its shame really as my x52 Pro HOTAS could now go to complete waste.

I know no one will probably know what issue is but its worth a try i suppose.

Thanks

Tried going in to the settings and increasing voice to max?

Also, if you are crashing in FSX very often download uiautomationcore.dll and put it into your FSX folder.

Ah, make sure the sound devices are set manually. I had mine set to default device and my voices were coming from my monitor (hdmi out). Fixed easily by setting both to speakers/headphones.
