FT03/FT03mini - fitting slot load optical

Just wondering if I need to remove the bezel on a slot load optical to fit to FT03 ?

Also, any difference between the Silverstone slot load dvdrw and other varieties which are half the price ? I assume any brand will fit.

any brand will fit and i just took off my front panel and shoved it in, havent even used any screws but my PC was fully built so there were extension cables holding it in position.
I didn't even have a drive but i got one on MM for under £20 so it seemed rude not to.
