Started playing this again after seeing this post, strangely finding this a bit easier than I used to find it, still annoyingly difficult mind, but seem possible now.

There was a VR version of FTL, or at least a VR game following the same formula which I loved playing: From Other Suns.
It's an old Oculus game and unfortunately abandoned but still playable.

Man that Mantis A was hard, had 2 hull points left came right down to the wire.

Started playing this again last few weeks, done a few more on hard, I'm down to I think 8 ships left to do on hard.

My game last night, got the last boss down to 3 hull points on the third stage, this is with the stealth ship that starts with no shields or cloaking.

I had a breach missile that does 4 damage, shoot, miss, super weapon kills me, sooooooooooooo close.

I swore out loud.

Im scraping the barrel with the ships left though, it's getting so tough.

If you hadn't revived this thread when you posted this I wouldn't have spun this game up again and been reminded how frequently I get blown to bits - lol
