Hi all,
I'm new to FTP but have been asked to take a look at someone's FTP site, as they can get access via 1 user, but cannot add other users. I have had a look at the IIS settings in Windows 2000 and it all seems to be set up in a similar way to the various guides out there. Anonymous access is disabled. By browsing to the FTP site via IE6 using the original user's credentials, I can see the route of the 'Home directory' with no issues. However, if I try to use the logon credentials of a different user, I cannot get access. Any idea why this might be? I have granted 'modify' security access to the folder, with change and read access granted in the share permissions for the new user.
Any help appreciated.
