Hey guys,

Im looking for some advice. We're on bulldog adsl and none of the guys in the house can use FTP at all, the connections always time out. It's ridiculous, even with no one else using the connection, FTP cannot seem to upload anything. I've tried apps as well as the command line and nothing will upload (downloading via ftp is fine 250KB/s+). We don't have any speed or connection issues when using any other protocols.

Could this be an issue at bulldogs end? Surely even with a slow upload speed your ftp sessions shouldn't time out right?

Just tried you website and listened to the tracks on it. They are not bad !!!
:D

Do you mean you can download from the internet using FTP but you cannot upload to your FTP site ?

If so where is the FTP site hosted ?

Thanks dude :)

My site is hosted on tsohost. I connect using FTP (command line) and can get files no problem. When I try to put however, it just hangs on 2% until I kill it.

Have you tried enabling passive transfer in your ftp clients config? This is suppose to sometimes help with transfer speeds.

Also you havent accidently set some upload speed limits at like 0k or something very low.
