Hi,

I would like to set up an FTP server where I work seeing as we have 100mb down and 50mb upload. We are a charity/university as well; so could use some not for profit programs.

We would also like it to possibly authenticate with our active directory and have a method that allows "guests" to login as well.
We would also like a script to run that deletes files that are say older than 30days - could anyone point me in the correct direction for this as well.

Any suggestions would be great!

One requirement I would really like would be for a "user" that is an AD (active directory-they are not admin either!) user to be able to say create a new user so that someone from outside the site can log onto the FTP site with a dynamically changing password - that last for say 48hours...

Is there a tool/script out there to do this whereby the e-mail the script/tool and it is then done?

Thanks

I don't follow, you want someone logged into the FTP server to create an AD user?

Sorry I lost you; no I want an AD user to be able to create a temporary login for say 48hours so that they can give temporary access to someone who does not work for us. Like a generic username and password - just temporary.
