Hello all,

Was wondering if anyone can help me with this. I have a NAS drive set up as an ftp server which works fine. I want to stream music and video from it but all I can do is download the files.

I'm pretty sure that there is a simple answer but I can't find it! :( Networking stuff isn't my strongest area.

An FTP server is not designed to stream music, that's your first issue, it's simply for file transfers. Does your NAS have any media streaming ability's ?
 
It's an Icybox IB-NAS900-B. I don't think that it has any media streaming capabilities then.

If there's no other way, can you recomend one that does as I've run out of space anyway. The missus could get me something for xmas. ;)
