Hey guys, i have my own website although i cannot seem to get it to work.

The hoster does provide FTP username password etc but it doesnt seem to want to accept my information.

I have a decent knowledge of HTML coding and would simply like to put a couple of linked webpages on my domain address.

Do you have any suggestions on the best way to do this? How would you recommend i go around this?

Thanks.

i basically gave me a username, password and a place where i can edit it using internet explorer, i copy and paste it to ensure no mistakes but still just doesn't log in or let me change settings.

Could you post the FTP details here (don't post your username/password!) and I should be able to work out what you need to plug into FileZilla to make it work, forget the one built into Internet Explorer.

Ive sort of found a problem, my website is palmtreeunion.eu and its hosted through freeola.

i used their website builder tool and now it wont let me just normally upload files through FTP, it doesnt give me a username or password anymore.

anyone know how to get out of this?

Try this: http://freeola.com/support/webspace-filezilla.html

Before you start with the FTP upload please ensure at this point that you have your Freeola internet connection currently connected or your domain name is signed up for our VIP Hosting service. For further information on uploading via FTP please read our Basic Guide to FTP and Web Space.

Host: The FTP server name or your web address can be entered here.
Username: The FTP username for your Freeola webspace.
Password: The FTP password needed to authenticate FTP access.

Looks like you just use whatever username/password you use to login to your Freeola account.
