Hi folks getting ultrafast fibre 300. Anyone know how good the included router is ?

What can I expect for the installation

Hi it's bt, they have my go live date on the 4th but will send engineers out on 25th to install a box ??

You'll get a Smart Hub 2, which I've never had a problem with.

Are there any specific features you feel that you need?

Just good signal tbh have 3 floors in home so might get their mesh but it's a fiver per month...

Is there a difference in latency

Wifi on BT's routers is s***. A cheap £40 TPLink gives better signal than the Smart Hub.

Strangely enough test data says otherwise, you can also source your own disc set-up via BT store or eBay and get better coverage that way. Alternatively flog the SH2 on eBay for £90 and buy something better.
