FTTP with VOIP and phone recommendations

Hi all,

Thinking about the switch over to FTTP I have been reading up a bit on VOIP.
I hope to be able to sign up for FTTP and run that in parallel with my FTTC with talk talk and then port my phone number to sipgate basic (which should cancel the FTTC)

I have managed to get a sipgate basic account up and running with a new phone number and can receive calls to my mobile using the grandstream wave app so half way there. No money spent so far.

I want to have a landline phone at home so been looking into VOIP DECT phones.
Anyone got any recommendations? Looks like you need to spend about £100 to get the base station and handset.

Yealink W60P seems a good spec.

Any recommendations from personal experience?

What phones do you have at the moment? If you already have a DECT set then you can add an ATA to that.

When I was playing with Sipgate, I bought a Grandstream HT801 ATA for about £25. Seems to work as it should with my existing DECT handsets.

The funny thing is since VoIP went live, I've never had any spam/sales calls and such versus it over copper. I'd always get between 3 - 5 of them in a week.

I just have an ancient corded phone. Did try a bt dect phone previously but it was so quiet it was useless. Maybe a phone line issue.
