They’ll need to drill through your wall to pass the fibre through and install an ONT on the inside then the usual router connecting to this
Most companies tend to use PIA/poles in the street and overhead cables to reach you rather than dig up your driveway/garden etc and yes they’d usually be happy to bring the cable through upstairs if that’s what you want
will they put the incoming cable upstairs ?
