Fubared DVD

I'm about halfway through the first season of Roswell on DVD and 2 of the episodes on one of the discs are unwatchable as they are heavily pixelated. Is there anyway to fix this or is the disc dead? Returning the dvd is a last resort as it will take nearly 2 weeks for the dvd to be returned to me.

If it does it on several players, and the PC then the discs are knackared. Search for DVD rot, and yes it does exist. Get a replacement.

IIRC there was a big thing about some of the Roswell discs being faulty, my g/f loves the series (girls series anyway IMHO

) and I bought her the boxed sets for Crimbo.. one of them was duff (Series 1?) so had to change it twice before she got a working set.

Well I'm sending it back tomorrow so hopefully get a decent version this time. It may be a girls series but it's one of my guilty pleasures

Roswell girl's sci-fi.

It certainly seemed to have more of a female audience.
I bought my fiancee the complete Roswell boxed set - all three series.
However being the kind of guy I am I've ended up watching all of the episodes with her and actually I've quite enjoyed it.
We've only got five episodes to go until it's all over now - apparently Series 3 was never shown on the BBC? So this final series we've both been in the dark.
