FUEL’s landscape is powered by cutting-edge technology and, using satellite data, features some of the most exciting and inspiring areas of America – including the Grand Canyon, Yosemite National Park, Mount Rainier and much more. In FUEL, if you can see it, you can drive to it, taking any route – on or off-road – that you want. With a draw distance of 40KM, 100,000 miles of roads, tracks and trails and hundreds of race events FUEL’s epic world demands to be explored.
Bringing this vast, open ended landscape to life is a dramatic and dynamic weather system that includes tornados, sandstorms, blizzards, lightening and thunderstorms, which all affect the environment and race strategy plus a full day night cycle. Complete with the ability to go online to explore this massive world and compete in hundreds of multiplayer challenges

Looking at it, I get the feeling the online play will be a lot more popular on the consoles...

But I dont own one so ill be getting the PC version. Any clues as to where its available for £20? Ive only found it for £25...

erm you need to shop around online on the .net , the same online site has Operation Flashpoint for £17.99 !!!

Complete freedom makes racing games worse imo. Burnout paradise was pushing the limit but this is way over the top. How can the game have a competitive edge if you are always racing different tracks? There is a reason games like grid and trackmania are so popular. Open world-ness is one of those things that developers are gradually working towards but in actually fact it's going to make games worse... like virtual reality (I want to sit down when I game tyvm).

complete freedom doesnt make a racing game worse, it just makes it different to linear racing games.

racing on a solid tarmac surface on a pre-defined track is great fun and yes i see your point, but if you diversify and move the vehicles to a terrain that has different surfaces you immediately altar the experience ...

racing on unpredictable tracks with jumps and drops can only make the experience one that is always different and a constant challenge and can work, but until we see a review or two or maybe a demo we wont know if its anygood.

regarding purchasing i dont know if its available to download yet, but i'll have a look around today.. shame its not on steam
