Was going to get a new fuel filter to install but when I looked for one for my car (typed in my reg plate in eurocarparts) there are around 10 to choose from with many being different dimensions (a few mm difference in length or diameter etc?) Is it fair to assume that any will all fit seeing that the site has pinged them up?
Can't see the make and model details of one currently fitted.
Mk1 Ford Focus petrol 1.6 BTW.

I'd take what their site recommends based on your reg with a pinch of salt. It often recommends items for my car that aren't suitable (oil being one of them).

I believe you can access Ford ETIS to get part numbers based on the VIN of the car?

I'm not sure how it works now, it's been many moons since I had my Focus

Go to a site such as Mann filters, probably find they will make the filter for your Ford and will give you the correct PN.

Cheers for the info.
Tried ford Etis and online it refers me to US parts.
MANN website suggests two filters both of which are slightly different in dimensions. I'm guessing then that the fixings are reasonably easy to adjust to accommodate different sizes.
Easiest thing is to head in and get one face to face. Not as though it's an uncommon thing to change!

Just get one from Ford? They are only about a tenner, so you at most save a couple pounds usually. I generally source everything else elsewhere, but genuine oil filters.
