Fuel stabiliser storage stuff?

Can I just stick a bottle of redex in? Or do I need special fuel stabiliser / anti rust stuff in there? Planning to store my Hornet while I decide what to do with it.

What is the proper stuff? Just Redex, or other?

It should be fine? Longest I've stored mine was 2 or 3 years,

Probably, it was stored for a year without anything, then a further 6 months after running for a while and was absolutely fine, but would prefer to do it 'properly'/
