After I've taken 4 or 5 pictures the camera shuts down - doesn't matter if it's fully charged or near empty. Takes a minute or two to think about it, then turns on fine. Any ideas? It''s less than 3 months old and isn't used lots but I feel it's a bit of a pain sometimes when I'm trying to take pics of the nieces and nephews doing silly things or other family occasions where a quick pic is needed.
Is this a normal thing? Do digi cams overheat? Or is it worth popping into ******** and trying to recreate the problem? It's got the year guarantee with them and also another years cover for free. I like the size of the camera but if needbe I'd swap it for something of the same value as long as picture quality was the same and it was just a straight swap for swap. It was 199 reduced to 129 as part of a promo.
