fuji finepix help

My mam has a fuji camera and for some reason it has started showing a fault.The viewing screen is all black/purple and fuzzy when going to take a pic or when viewing a pic that was just taken, but you can view old pictures fine on the viewing screen.I have emailed fuji but no reply i was woundering if anyone on the forums would have any ideas what problem could be.

My Canon A60 sometimes do that, hitting it solves the problem sometimes and its out of warranty so i didn't get it fix and got a new one. How old is your camera? it is probably either a connection problem between the CCD and TFT, sent it back for repair is your best bet.

hmm its probably around 2 years,hardly been used maybe 30 times in 2 years.The model is a fuji finpix f401


i just did a search on ebay for the model and there is like 7 faulted ones with same fualt lol
