Fuji s9500

i have a s9500 but when i want to take multiple quick shots the flash is disabled. if i got an external flash would i be able to use the flash then. i was thinking something along the lines of a hot shoe.

im pretty new to all this photography caper so go easy

Im thinking the same thing lol, though ive only ever managed to find 1 flash gun for the 9500 but then again i am pants at finding stuff

A good flash you can use to bounce would go a really long way with the s9500 becuase you want to avoid upping the ISO to anything above 400 really becuase you can really notice the noise.

but if i was to get an external flash would that allow me to take multiple shots using the multiple shot mode with the flash going off each time??
