I'm thing of selling my Lumix Panasonic GF-1 & replacing it with the Fuji X-M1.

Thing is, I really like the Panasonic 20mm pancake lens & I was wondering if it would fit on the Fuji without any faff? I.e. ideally I would sell the GF-1 body and keep the lens.

Ta :)

No is the simple answer.

The Panny 20mm f1.7 is designed for an m4/3 sensor which mean the rear element will be a lot smaller than an equivalent fuji lens because the fuji cameras have a 1.5x crop APSC sensor which is significantly larger.

Even if you could get it to fit you would see very heavy vignetting at wide wide to medium apertures making it pretty pointless anyway.

Fuji do several very high quality prime lenses such as the 18mm f2 or 23mm f1.4 which both offer similar fields of view to your 20mm but are quite a bit more expensive.

Thanks :(

I do like my GF-1 but it's lacking a little in low light, any ISO higher than 800 is pretty noisy. A shame because I love the controls, menus and its daytime performance.
