Fuji x pro 1 v fuji xA1, xe1?

I have an X-Pro 1 and would recommend that you try find a bit more money for an X-E2 or a little bit more still for an X-T1. If you cannot find the extra money then the X-Pro 1 is still a mighty fine camera.

I agree. I was just wondering how you would consider it as a potential upgrade/side-grade to the XA1 I'm using at the moment? Alternatively the choice becomes a bit more tricky when I compare the XT1 (which I would like) to the Sony A600 (which is cheaper)? Just bought a new digital tablet and Aorus Laptop to use for "portable" post processing etc, so I don't have as much money as I would have liked.

Tbh I'm thinking of trying to get the XT10 before Christmas and keeping the lenses I acquired from the XA1. I don't know how much I would get from selling the XA1 (body only) privately, but have seen that in some places are offering, through Fuji, £80.00 part ex. If I can get £80.00 plus the £40.00 cash back, on offer, then that would make more economic sense. I'm also wondering how well the X10 does with macro and what (non expensive) lenses people would be using for wildlife? Main areas of focus for me are landscape and portrait.

I ended up pressing the buy button on an Xt10. I'm sure it's going to be more than adequate for my needs which includes the increase in focusing, beautiful jpegs more or less straight out of the box. I liked the look of the XT1 but couldn't consider the extra 1 frame all that significant. The weather sealing was a non issue also as I read a critique from somewhere illustrating the fact there was no sealing between the lense and the actual camera. Also there would have been an issue with having to purchase weather sealed lenses.

I've yet to receive the XT10 which I'll be collecting either Friday or Monday, and don't know if anybody else on here either has one or has used one? I'm wondering if the wifi on it limits the size of the file that can be transferred to a mobile phone (like it does with the X-A1)?

edit: You have the option of transferring the original size (so just answered my own question).
