Fujitsu Amilo laptops?

Hi,

Does anyone know what the build quality is like on Fujitsu laptops? I have been offered one by a friend, and before I make plans to go and take a look at it, I want to know if it would even be worth the trip? Are they built well? or flimsy and likley to fall apart?

A few people are having this problem because the jack is not held in place good enough so when you insert or remove the adapter it would move it back and forth so eventually the solder joint would snap.

Unfortunate his warranty just ran out but I managed to solder it back on, I just need to figure out how to put the darn thing back together again.

But in general is it good build quality or is it pap?
