Ill let you know next week cause Ive decided to get this monitor , seen it for 210 and Im going to go for it..

oh i found this review

http://www.vtr-hardware.com/news/fujitsu-siemens-l22-1w-n8969.html

heres the short version

Strong points
Two catches VGA: 2nd for a console, a reader DVD…

Guarantee zero dead pixel optional

Design, hull metal

Price

Correct colors in Cinema mode

Weak points

Colors not simple to regulate manually

No entry DVI

Weak angles of vision

Basic foot: nonadjustable in height, not of pivot

More remanence than on the IPS 6 ms and Mva 8 ms

overall they gave it 5 stars

If you choose one 22 inches, this Fujitsu-Siemens seems, for the moment, most interesting: price, design, 2 entries VGA… It is practical, beautiful and economic. Not badly!

so basically it suffers from the other cheap 22 inch panels ie bad viewing angles..

The viewing angles don't look too good in those pics, is it just the camera?

I've just got one of these, and have to say, for the price, I'm mightily impressed.

Of all the 22" screens I reckon this is by far the sexiest (and cheapest). I reckon the quality is spot on, though the colour settings are a little unwieldy.

The Big problem might be the large levels of backlight bleed at the top and bottom - not so great for films.

And the fairly atrocious viewing angles - they are poor, but they'll be exactly the same for all the TN film 22"ers.

Overall I reckon 4/5.

i saw the dvi version in PC word the other day, my god the backlight bleed is horrendous.

I mean to the point i threw out the idea completely, its unfortunate because the monitor is so sexy

Hi there

Its a nice screen at a great price.

The backlight bleed though sounds like a problem, you sure just not unlucky and got the odd bad one?

Seen a couple of the Belinea 22" in action and they don't seem to suffer any backlight bleed at all, the black really are black.
In comparison the Video 7 panel we sell also the Belinea has much sharper text and crisper image quality, which is strange as the V7 is DVI.

Belinea do seem to have come a long way as the 102030W and 102035W are best in their class and again for amazingly low prices. The new 22" model just seems to follow on from this greatness.

Can any1 let me know how these perform in gaming. Especially with FPS games. Any Ghosting or Tearing issues?

They do look sweet. Very sexy.
