Full colour (16.7), low refresh, gaming TFT?

Does such a beast exist?! I dont mind a 17" or 19" TFT but would like full colour with a refresh of about 8ms or so.

Anyone know of such a monitor? Most seem to be a TN panel or PVA will 25ms :(

It will be used for gaming and watching videos

the dell 1905fp meets your requirements but as i had one i can say that its good for games but not DvDs (samsung panel)dont know about AU version
 
Dell is fine as long as you get the 8 ms version, which is down to pure luck. VP930 is more or less the same thing, but guaranteed 8 ms. Formac Xtreme 3 1900 has the same panel as the Dell too, but is cheaper. There's a Belinea too with the same panel.

None of these are quite as quick as the quickest TN screens, but they are all 16.7 M colours, which the TNs aren't. The NEC LCD20WGX2 is very quick and 16.7 M colours, but it's widescreen.

I'd definitely have a look at the following:

19" - Viewsonic VP930, Samsung 970P, Dell 1905FP (8ms version),
20" - NEC LCD20WGX2, Belinea 102035W, Viewsonic VX2025WM, Philips 200W6CS

all are using PVA, MVA or IPS panel technology and offer some decent responsiveness

One question tho - how come all our TFTs are always in silver, whereas the americans have the choice of black OR silver? Annoys the hell out of me as I prefer all black!!

What about the Hyundai ImageQuest L91A?
