Full lock scraping issue?

When the car is on full lock (right hand down) the car scrapes badly and its a really harsh sounding noise, like some metal is misplaced and is scraping somewhere, but the alloys are fine, no rubbing or anything, theyve not done this until around about 2-3 weeks ago.

What could the issue be?
& how costly?

Aye, its going soon :) decided to pay my way to the half way stage, send the car to auction and call it a day and not drive for a while. Lesson learnt i ruddy hope!

Starting to save for a better car, got around £300ish already, need another £1700 to make me happy, which without my car is very easy haha :)

Ah well.

Unless you are actually just handing the car back after paying 50% of the finance?

So you've paid what £5000 to have a Clio 1.2 for 1 year?

Dude, the decision hasnt come lightly.

I have paid a lot for it, but you do what you want at a young age, you dont listen to wiser people as you clearly do know more then everyone else (clearly at 19).

Erm, if i pay 50% theyll take the car from me and cancel the contract, im not at the half way stage yet but im allowed to pay installments, paying for a car i dont own, nice one!

As for the auction, they want me to take the car there for free, pay £75 for an agent to collect providing its road worthy which is it or £250-275 for recovery.

Awsome eh, id like to sell it myself and ask them what they intend to gain as i had this priced by 3 garrages and was told 2-3k from them or 3-3.5k privately.

Im just going to save some money and reread the advice given in the past and move on :)

Lesson learnt, dont go near carshaft, dont get a car on tick unless your extremely minted and getting a good deal, and for goodness sake get something other then french next time :)

You did really annoy me at the time, but now i think about it, you, my friends, my mum, the world, all correct, especially as this spread across over 30 forums within weeks!

Next car, VW Golf 1.9 TDI or maybe the 1.6 SE poverty spec :) budget 1-1.2k What ever happens im saving up for my next car.

Everyone makes mistakes, serious kudos for being able to come out and admit it :)

Pop by when you've got some cash and we'll all be more than happy to make sure your next car is a much better buy :)

Take a read through the whole thread.

Essentially, £1000 first off, then £205 for 48 months, after that you can just hand the keys back. Or buy it off them for the final price

Finance to me is off limits, cheers anyway haha.

bledd, i dont think that is a good idea at all for the op tbh :P

How true :)

I took the car for its service n they messed up my locking bolts n claimed i brought it like that!

Then ever so nicely offered me £25 per bolt for removal.. I laughed at him, literally right at him, then the service sheet said "clutch slipping" £300+vat, again i laughed..

The first page is certainly an interest read now

I dont want to read over it :) Ever again..

I still remember your post word for word, "please tell me you did not buy this car from carcraft?"

Dont even need to read over it to remember what you said.

Sounds like a CV joint, as Janesy said.

I was thinking it might be this.. was hoping not like.
