Full loop now cpu is useless?

Try HW Monitor.

The software program's are looking at array of sensors so variations can occur with software revisions and calibration of thr sensors.

Ideally you need to test the full load temps.

Looking at HWMonitor now, It's saying 40cs while playing a steam game. Not bad .

As for testing full load temps, Am scared. After seeing it 86c am not entire sure how far I'd let it run at those temps.

Does using the outlet as the inlet on the CPU block make any diff on that kind of block (not sure off that pic or block if it actually makes any diff though) as wouldnt it be going through the jet plate the wrong way on that loop as it is now?
Although like I said not sure if it makes that big a deal tbh or if its relevant to that block?

On these blocks there are no in and out so I dont think it matters.

Gonna open it up later today and clean it anyway.

yes last week I installed the same block just nickel although there is no marking on the block my instructions pointed it out don't know how much difference it would make to temps though:D

Funny enough, I did switch tubes when I fitted the other rad, Didn't think it would make a difference but now... Am starting to think

It usual practice to clean the black crap of and put on some decent TIM of your choice, liquid metal being most peoples and then lay the lid back on top and clamp it all back down.

It's what and many others have done with our 4770k.

Are you using a shim of sorts so you don't crush the core?

I don't really see the appeal of stuffing the lid back on it really, I may do it when my liquid metal comes through the post but yea.

Even with what I have temps are still kinda high at 75c in prime under 1.22v

Nothing is stopping it being crushed apart from not pushing the block down too hard :P
